A CIPRIANI STORY
In 1936, Giuseppe Cipriani Sr. purchased a small wine shop on the island of Torcello. Restored and transformed into a “locanda” after the war, it became popular among those seeking privacy and relaxation, including, throughout the years, Ernest Hemingway, Queen Elizabeth and many others.
